We take care to keep it accurate and up to date, but it may change without notice and does not form part of any agreement unless it is included in our Terms of Service or an order form. Product screens shown on the website illustrate the Service and may differ slightly from the current version.

2. Marks and academic integrity

Quala Labs runs students' code against tests written by their teachers and records events such as tab switches, device changes and patterns that may suggest copied or hard-coded answers. These are aids to a teacher's professional judgement. An automatic score or an integrity flag does not, by itself, establish that a student has or has not met a standard or broken a rule. Decisions about marks, conduct and consequences belong to the School and its teachers.

3. AI output

AI features, where included in a School's Plan, generate suggestions that can be incomplete or wrong. Teachers review every AI-assisted mark, question and rubric before it is used. See our AI Terms.

4. Statements about law and compliance

Where we say the Service is built for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are describing the design choices and safeguards we have made, which are explained in our Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum and Security pages. There is no official certification under that Act, and each School remains responsible for its own obligations as a Data Fiduciary. Nothing on our website is legal advice.
